Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta spoke after his side’s 4-1 Emirates Cup win over Leverkusen, with the team having one more game in the competition remaining against Lyon.
The Gunners scored four goals from Oleksandr Zinchenko, Leandro Trotsar, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz to secure a win and build confidence ahead of their first Premier League game of the season in nine days. While also explaining why Riccardo Calafiori has yet to be fielded.

Calafiori, a lot has happened with him in the last seven days. He’s had a new environment and different training. So we’re working with him and we want to take it slow and in the best way possible. Hopefully he’ll be ready to play on Sunday.”
